Qian Feng


Qian Feng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is an expert in automatic control and process systems engineering. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of East China University of Science and Technology, chief scientist of the National Intelligent Control Technology Innovation Center for Process Manufacturing, and director of the Key Laboratory of Energy and Chemical Process Intelligent Manufacturing of the Ministry of Education. Deputy director of the National Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee, Vice president of China Instrumentation Society. Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, vice-chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society and Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee. He was a member of the 11th and 12th CPPCC National Committee and vice president of East China University of Science and Technology.

 

Qian Feng has long been engaged in research on application basis, key technologies, industrial software and system integration of process industrial intelligent manufacturing for energy and chemical process resources and energy efficient utilization. The technology, software and system of intelligent control and optimized operation of ethylene plant have been innovatively developed, which has been comprehensively promoted and applied in domestic ethylene industry with remarkable results. The key technology of optimizing the whole process of the precision terephthalic acid device has been broken through, and the industrial device has achieved significant energy saving and consumption reduction. The invention of the whole process of oil refining digital twin, planning and scheduling intelligent decision-making, real-time operation optimization and other core technologies, formed China's independent and controllable large-scale refinery integrated equipment intelligent manufacturing industry software and system. The research results have been successfully applied in dozens of large petrochemical enterprises, and remarkable economic and social benefits have been achieved. He has won more than 40 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, including 5 national science and Technology Progress prizes and 16 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress prizes, authorized more than 60 national invention patents, registered more than 150 national computer software Copyrights, won 3 Chinese Patent Excellence Awards, published 3 monographs and published more than 380 SCI/EI indexed papers. The research results were selected as the top ten outstanding cases of industry-university-research cooperation in Chinese universities.
